Restoration Year Devotional | Review

I received this book from BookLook for reviewing. All opinions are my own.

I’m a big fan of a good devotional. The last book I talked about was a devotional. Plus, I’ve been off my reading game. Since I wanted a hardcover, easy book I picked up Restoration Year by John Eldredge. I liked the topic of restoration since most of mine are more on the grateful side of things so it was a nice switch. So here’s my thoughts.

About the Book

Restoration Year is a 365-day devotional which focuses on a journey of restoration. It focuses on transforming your life and building a profound relationship with God. It’s short readings per day that have a specific Bible verse, a devotion, and a prayer or challenge to make you think throughout the day,

I liked the devotional because it was more about thinking about your life and questions instead of cutesy stories. They’re pretty short reads that I could do either in the morning or before I go to bed. I do like that the prayers or questions at the end are genuinely made to think and not just a simple, easy wrap-up. It’s agood enough devotional with a little more substance than others.
