It’s no secret that I love fall. The weather is finally cooling down in California and I am wearing all the oversized sweaters and beanies I can. This also means it starts getting darker earlier, which makes me want to lay in bed. Here’s my fall night routine with Sleepytime Tea and the best way to relax and enjoy the crisp weather!

The Perfect Night

Nighttime in general is my favorite time. I’m a homebody and it’s the time I unwind. But also, since I’ve been working out I am keeping my nights more consistent so my body can rest well. This means I have a whole routine to make sure everything I relax well. Lately, I’ve invested in some nice pajamas because I’m was a firm leggings girl. But it helps to get me in the mentality to rest.

Tea is always necessary! I love having something warm to drink at night so my body gets all cozy inside. Celestial Seasonings has a large assortment of flavors. I have Vermont Maple Ginger, Honey Vanilla Chamomile, and of course, Sleepytime. You can easily find it at Walmart! Sleepytime helps to calm me down and feel warm and fuzzy as my night gets going. Bonus points for using a cute mug!

I always have to make sure to moisturize my skin since it’s on the drier side. I honestly feel so icky if I skip this step.┬áSince California doesn’t have the traditional change of the seasons, I always have a candle burning that seems fall-ish. I started rewatching Gilmore Girls because that show just screams fall for me. So I usually get cozy in my bed wrapped in my blanket!

On my phone, I keep an alarm 15 minutes before my bedtime. During the last few minutes, I take time to pause and meditate on my day. I make sure to not use my phone so my head is not carried away. It’s the best to make sure I am completely relaxed and ready to sleep! Fall is my favorite season so it’s the perfect way to enjoy it.
