A big part of my family traditions deals with food. Mexican food has a wide variety of things you can make. For my family, we are huge lovers of desserts. Even before we are done with our main course, we are already asking what’s for dessert. Here’s my everyday favorite dessert that is super easy to make.
Fresas con Crema
Y’all, my favorite dessert of all time is fresas con crema. It’s sweet and savory and not too cold, which is perfect since the weather is getting chillier. But you can eat it year round because it’s just so good. With just one can of media crema you can make a batch that feeds up to four people. Here’s how you make it.
First, you mix the can of media crema, one half teaspoon of sugar, and 1/2 cup of sugar into a bowl.
After that you put it in the fridge to chill for four hours or all night depending on how thick you want the crema to get.
Once it’s ready, get your strawberries washed and cut into a separate dish. Drizzle the crema on top and mix it in and you’re done!
I usually add some whipped cream on top but that’s up to you. This recipe makes up to four servings so everyone can get a taste!
Fresas con crema are my go to dessert because it’s sweet and easy to make. Plus, media crema just makes every other meal easier to make too. Like my mom like putting it in her chiles rellenos. So there’s always a sweet or savory dish to make.
