Sounds: Music for the New Year

Sounds: Music for the New Year

There’s nothing I enjoy than new music. I have this weird thing that the first music you listen in the new year can set the tone for the rest of it. Not to mention, I also love the new year because so much more music will be released and I’m happy to discover it all. I’m expectant for whatever music this year will bring. Until then, I’ve made a playlist to kick things off. Here are the songs that I’m going to start off the year with.

Take This Love | Brothers & Company

This is one of those bands I came across thanks to Spotify Discover. I will always say how much I love songs that sound great in a car, and “Take This Love” is amazing. It’s a new kind of love song that feels so free and careless. I’ll definitely also add this to my summer playlist.

You Know It | Colony House

I’ve heard about Colony House before but never stopped to listen and I have no idea why. They’re probably becoming one of my new favorite bands! You’ve probably listened to their song “Silhouettes” around, and “You Know It” is another hit for them. I’m hoping to catch them on tour in California. They’re definitely a band to watch out for.

Yours | C3LA Music

Another Spotify Discover gem. I’m torn about this one because this track is so great, but I cannot find anymore into from this band. So please, where ever you are, make some more music! It’s a fresh take and a song that is easy to jam out to.
