Mid-Twenty Thoughts

Mid-Twenty Thoughts

March means it’s my birthday month! I’m the kind of person that has countdowns and celebrates all month long, but I’m starting to feel anxious about my birthday now, maybe because I’m starting to hit my mid-twenties. Life is always a learning process and there are so many things I’m still realizing.

Be Happy

Life has definitely not gone the way I planned. I wish I could control it but I can’t. Something I realized is that there’s no point holding on to frustrations and grudges because life keeps moving. The older I get the more I realized to just be content and joyful for life as it comes. Time is too valuable to ponder on unnecessary things, might as well enjoy what you have now!

Health is Really Important

So far this year I’ve gotten sick twice. I’m realizing how I just can’t bounce back from things as easily as I used to. It’s a little heartbreaking but it’s making me focus on taking better care of myself in every way. This means eating healthier and taking vitamins. It’s better to start younger than waiting until it’s too late.

It’s Never Too Late to Change

I feel like people always assume you can’t change because you’re so set in your ways, but that’s not true. I was doing some thinking and was cringing at my past self so I’m setting out to become a better person. It won’t be easy but it’ll be worth it. Bettering yourself should always be a priority.

If you’ve been following me now for a few years, you know that I love having a giveaway from my birthday! I love giving back so this is a chance for all of us to celebrate. This year I also hit 2k subscribers on Youtube! So I’m double celebrating with this giveaway. I’m giving away $10 to Starbucks, $10 to Target, a Wicked-inspired bath bomb, a cute notebook, and a DIY candle.

  • Awe, such a nice inspirational post. And little life lessons that are always good reminders. Happy birthday month! Lovely giveaway! You are rocking this birthday love.

  • Yay! Happy birthday! 🙂 Really loved this post because I’ve been thinking the exact same things lately. Times feel really awkward in your mid twenties like this weird in between stage! Haha, my boyfriend is always stressing the point of being healthy now before it’s too late. I can totally agree though, we shouldn’t wait till problems arise and start worrying then!

  • Happy Birthday! In still trying to learn the big life lesson that you can’t always control things.

  • Hey, happy early birthday! I’ll be turning 29 in April and I have to say, my mid/late 20’s have probably been some of the best times of my life. I feel like when I hit 25 I finally had a much better sense of who I was and what I wanted out of life.

  • Happy Birthday!!! 🙂 I turn 26 in one week! :O I feel that now I have a better sense of knowing to watch what i say and sensor myself.

  • i totally feel you on the not bouncing back as quickly as you used to! I ride horses and the falls get to me more than they used to now that I’m in my mid-twenties!

  • I have learned that everyone hurts and to be empathetic to other people. You never know what they are dealing with.

  • I have learned so many life lessons. All of which are important but the one I have recently shared two to three different times because of the situation is that I always try to do the right thing even if no one is around because it will come back to you ten fold. When we put out good we reap good. But when we intentionally hurt someone else it WILL ALWAYS come back and bite me in the booty…… Count on it.

  • Happy belated birthday!!! I love that point you made about it never being too late to change!! Such a big one. I also heard that every 6 years our personalities change…so by the time we’re early 30s we may have changed anyway! 😉
