I Declare War – Levi Lusko | Review

Levi Lusko's new book is about battling your struggles. Here's my thoughts on the book.

I received this book from BookLook for reviewing. All opinions are my own.

I’ve been lagging on my book reading so I’m pushing myself to read instead of mindlessly surfing the web. Or taking naps, to be honest. When I saw I Declare War from Levi Lusko I decided to read it. I have read his other book Swipe Right before so I’m familiar with his writing. So I decided to give it a go so here are my thoughts on the book.

About the Book

I Declare War: Four Keys to Winning the Battle with Yourself is about declaring war on your “darkness, demons, and self-sabotaging tendencies” (straight quote from the official book page). The book’s goal is to give you the keys to be able to overcome the struggles of your mind and winning the war within you. The book has 4 parts which explains the keys to overcome “win the war.”

Not going to lie, I picked this book just because I recognized Levi’s name. But I was interested in the topic as someone who gets a lot of anxiety. Although I liked the topic of the book, I don’t think it got as deep as it could have. There’s so many people dealing with anxiety and troubled thoughts that I felt it needed something more to connect it back to God. What Levi shared was good but left much to be desired.

Have you read this book? What have you read lately?
