It’s been a while. While blogging is not my main priority, Vacancy is where you’ll find me, I have missed writing on this platform. During my break from this space, I got to thinking about what I genuinely want to share.
Like most people, time in quarantine made me spend time trying new things and figuring out new hobbies. That’s how I fell in love with cooking and baking. Before I did it out of necessity, but as soon as I was trying new recipes and getting excited over people’s reactions, I realized how fun I found it to be.
My sister and I have spent way too much time buying books at Barnes & Noble, which includes a lot of cookbooks. So we came to the idea of making our way through a whole cookbook and document our experiences. It’s a way to push us to cook new things but also have fun new content we will enjoy.
This blog for years has been a place for me to share my personal growth and life but I’m not too keen on sharing my personal life as I get older. But this new idea finally made me excited to get back to writing and share again on this blog. Writing has always been what I love and it’s something I have to continue to grow in. This way I can learn a new skill while honing in my existing one.
I will admit now that it won’t be as consistent and posts will come whenever I have time to sit and write. But in a way, it’s a good thing since I will have time to hash it out instead of hastily throwing words together to meet my weekly upload. At the end of the day, I just want to write well regardless of what I do.
Hope you can stick around!
