Creating the Perfect Movie Night Snacks at Home

October 18, 2020Food, Lifestyle
This post has been sponsored by Rojo’s® Autentico. All thoughts and opinions are my
own.

As the weather is getting chillier, and we’re still enjoying time at home, movie nights have become a part of life. Nothing makes movie night better than the perfect snacks. Since I’ve been spending more time in the kitchen, I realize how much I love making snacks that are comforting to me. With Rojo’s® Restaurant Style Salsa and Homestyle Salsa, I have been making snacks to keep my movie nights delicious.

I love salsa. Being Mexican meant that this was a staple in our home since I was a kid. I can easily pick up Rojo’s Restaurant Style and Homestyle Salsa at Vons, and start making yummy things right away. Vons also has an app that makes it easier to shop. I was able to pick up my salsa at any time and easily find it in the deli section of the store.

Rojo’s Restaurant Style and Homestyle Salsa can be used in actual meals or snacks. It’s the most versatile thing you can have in your kitchen. Here are some of my favorite snacks you can try at home!

Avocado Toast with Salsa

I love toast, so giving it a twist with salsa is perfect. I add salsa on my eggs, chilaquiles, you name it. Adding it with avocado and toast is an easy and quick way to get a flavorful snack.

Rojo’s Restaurant Style and Homestyle Salsa are made with Roma tomatoes, Onions, Chiles, fresh Cilantro, and spices which give any snack a boost. For this snack, I use any slice of bread (I like wheat bread), a fresh avocado, and Rojo’s Homestyle salsa.

I toast my bread super toasty, but this is also to your liking. The avocado is also to your taste. I like to spread it out, then add some chunks to the top. All you need is to top it off with Rojo’s Homestyle Salsa and you’re done! Something I also do is toast it enough to cut them to make smaller bite sizes.

The Classic Chips

I’m missing my favorite Mexican restaurants, so you can’t go wrong with chips and salsa for movie night, Rojo’s Restaurant Style Salsa gives you the flavor that you have been missing. It’s easy to make and all you need are chips with Rojo’s Restaurant Style Salsa.

Don’t forget to head to Vons and pick up your own salsa! Check it out and let me know what your favorite recipes are.
