This is way long overdue, but since it’s fall and still really warm in California, it will still makes sense. A couple of weeks ago I hung out with Kriselle from Livin’ and Lovin’ at this really hipster spot called, The Lab in Costa Mesa. There’s some barrel waterfall sculpture thing that everyone takes pictures at so we decided to do that because we needed to scratch that out of our bucket list.
As much as I love fall, it’s the terrible transition time where it’s cold in the morning, yet blistering hot in the middle of the day. I recently bought a Betsey Johnson wallet from Nordstrom Racks because I’m lazy to carry a bag lately and having a cute wallet holds my important things without having to carry around a handbag that will just get in my way, that sort of thing gives me anxiety.
P.S. I’m so indecisive about my hair color! Some people love it, some people think I should do it all one color. I’m so confused!
Anyway, I’ve been shying away from using jeans or any type of pants just because I still feel like they’re suffocating my legs. Skirts, dresses, shorts, and rompers are basically my go to and I’m pretty sure I’ll be buying tons of knee socks and tights so I can keep wearing them in the winter. The romper I’m wearing above is from TJ Maxx and I got it just because I love black. My closet is literally 90% black clothes, but that’s a story I’ll tell some other time. I love how it’s simple and has this lace top. I’ve paired it with a jean jacket or a kimono, but since it was so hot I wore it without a covering and it was fresh and still decent looking. *Not pictured – Teal flats from Forever 21 that are oh, so comfy*
After our total photo/video sesh and having the hipsters walk all around us, we decided to go across the street to The Camp and had a coffee break at my favorite coffee shop called Milk + Honey. Seriously, if you’re ever in Orange County go there!
It was a fun break from life and worth finally getting a picture at the barrels. I’m enjoying the warm weather while it lasts but I’m so looking forward to scarves and beanies. Dear California, please make fall weather happen soon!
